Surface Extraction Operations
Runs the drill, blast, load and haul cycle at the Wattle Creek quarry and the Deepridge open cut: shift prestarts, mobile plant operation, blasting, dump and stockpile management, haul road condition and the production plan. The department owns the principal hazard management plans for vehicle interaction, ground control and explosives.

Licensed shotfirer who leads the blast crew at both the quarry and the open cut, twelve years in drill and blast and responsible for the magazine.
Sione Tuilagi
Operates rigid haul trucks on B crew at the open cut, elected safety and health representative for the crew, four years with Deepridge.

The register of hazards, near misses, high potential incidents, injuries, environmental events and complaints with investigation status and corrective actions.
Mobile Plant and Prestart Register
The fleet list with each machine's prestart inspections, defects, service status and whether it is available for operation.
Permit to Work and Isolation Register
Permits for isolation, confined space, hot work, working at heights and excavation, with the isolations applied, the crew and the permit status.
