Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.

Surface Extraction Operations

Runs the drill, blast, load and haul cycle at the Wattle Creek quarry and the Deepridge open cut: shift prestarts, mobile plant operation, blasting, dump and stockpile management, haul road condition and the production plan. The department owns the principal hazard management plans for vehicle interaction, ground control and explosives.

Processing Plant

Operates the quarry crushing and screening plant, the sand wash plant and the coal handling and preparation plant. The team runs the control room, manages stockpiles and product quality, samples and tests product, and handles bulk loading and dispatch to specification.

Drilling Services

Mobilises drilling rigs and crews to client sites for exploration, geotechnical, water bore and horizontal directional drilling. The department plans each program, sets up and packs up sites, manages drilling fluids and cuttings, and keeps bore logs and drilling records for clients and regulators.

Civil Infrastructure

Builds and maintains haul roads, drainage, culverts, pavements, concrete pads and site infrastructure for the company's own sites and external clients. The team locates and protects underground services, manages traffic and excavation, and delivers projects to plans, specifications and the client's quality requirements.

Plant and Maintenance

Services and repairs the mobile fleet, fixed plant, crushers, screens, pumps and conveyors across the three sites. The team manages the isolation and permit to work system for maintenance, runs the planned maintenance schedule, controls spare parts and keeps every unit's service history and defect record current.

Health, Safety, Environment and Training

Owns the safety management system, principal hazard management plans, emergency response, environmental monitoring and the training and authorisation matrix. The team investigates incidents, runs inductions and verification of competency, manages fitness for work testing and reports to the regulators.
